TripAdvisor Review : “Very pleased”
I have been to Saffron many times and have always enjoyed the flavors. I am admittablely not an expert in Indian cuisine, but I really enjoyed their take on many Indian favorites. The soup is really good, and they have some excellent vegetarian dishes. The tandoori chicken is excellent as is the yogurt sauce. If they ask you for your heat preference, choose mild!! The medium heat tended to be to spicy for me, even though I normally like spicy food.

We have been to Saffron several times. My husband and I have always enjoyed it and when we treated friends they also became converts to the great food and lovely atmosphere. I love to cook for my family, so, I love it when I go to a place where I don’t even want to know the recipes because I want to be taken to a place where I know for sure that the food is great. They have great traditional Eastern Indian food. It is a modern decor, fresh-feeling place. A full bar and gracious staff make it very special and typical of true Indian restaurants. I am so thrilled that we live near such a place while we are in Tucson. Oh, did I mention that the prices are reasonable.
